It’s been a while. Nicole Sabouné won herself a lot of fans with her dark, dramatic rock music a few years back, especially with her 2015 second album Miman. Since that record’s release however, she’s been silent. Until now. Last month she announced her return with a new double-single, Nowhere To Go/ Keep It Frozen, showcasing a less heavy, more open and vulnerable sound. And on Friday she’ll complete her return with a new EP, Come My Love.

Ahead of that, she makes a live return to Stockholm’s stages with a show at Södra Teatern on Wednesday. Sabouné says of the new EP: ” Never before I have been so open, intimate and exposed. Either in my private life or as an artist. Come My Love is an EP that has changed my view of myself, my worth and my inner compass. It’s about the sorrow around love and life in a way I had never succeeded in writing about before. I’ve never been this open, and those who listen will be able to come close to me in a whole new way – which feels scary. That’s why this EP is so important for me”.
