Timber Timbres folksy blues style is reminiscent of Twin Peaks dark forests and the old sagebrush barren plains. It’s dark and lonely but without the misery and evil. Taylor Kirk’s delightfully drawling voice fills the earthy music with a kind of dull warmth that really makes us thrive in these dark places. In mixed emotions, we end up in this place between dreams and nightmares that we never want to leave.
And we are not the only ones. Eye Weekly named their self-titled second album for Album of the Year, and their latest album Creep On Creepin’ On ended up on the Canadian Polaris Music Prize’s top 10 list of nominees for this year’s album. Swedish Gaffa gave Creep On Creepin’ On a fiver with the description “An earthy journey whose monotony opens up space, and suddenly turns the thought chain against giants sleeping Sparklehorse and forgotten Mercury Rev. A glowing brasas blues mushroom influenced single recast, without the account of becoming monotonous.”

SEAN NICHOLAS SAVAGE (22:00)
Sean Nicholas Savage hails from Montreal, Canada and is a part of the Canadian indie music scene. Sean is known for his various music style and poetic lyrics. In 2013 he released the album Other Life.
