It’s getting closer to the time of year when Mosebacke becomes one of the prime meeting spots for Stockholmers. And this year, it won’t be exactly like it used to. Södra Teatern found its way into the hands of new owners last year and is currently going through a refurbishment of the outdoor terrace as well as the interiors.

What used to be Mosebacke Etablissement is now Restaurang Mosebacke and new restaurant manager Mikael Bergsten explains the new concept. “I like classic cooking but made with a twist. It shouldn’t be too complicated but may certainly be playful. Our guests will be able to sense that we have fun in the kitchen. On the menu you find Mosebacke’s take on steak tartare as well as several vegetarian and vegan dishes. They are also a member of the initiative Sustainable Restaurants where they work towards creating a more sustainable restaurant trade.
