Eat This Now: Red Velvet Croissant

Why:
For us sweet tooths, it is completely impossible to resist any kind of sugary combination of our favourite baked goods. The red velvet croissant, which was (allegedly) created by pastry chef Thiago Silva of Union Fare in NYC, has finally reached Swedish shores.

How:
The red velvet croissant is a magnificently decadent pastry that combines all the buttery goodness of a croissant with the cocoa-y richness of red velvet. The icing on the cake is (literally) the cream cheese frosting that the pastry is filled with.

Where:
At Mr Cake, Swedish pastry chefs Roy Fares and Mattias Ljungberg’s brand new café and bakery, more is more. This hotspot is the place to go for all those extreme sugar cravings, and the red velvet croissant has quickly become one of their signature items. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to get a couple of cronuts (croissants meets donuts), s’mores brownies and crème brûlée croissants.
