Absolut Art Collections Exhibition: Keith Haring Powerful Babies

Thursday, The inauguration of the the Absolut Art Collection Exhibition: Powerful Babies was kicked off with a bang. No less could be expected of Keith Haring’s influence on artists today. It was clear the iconic artist will be celebrated for many more years to come after his unfortunate demise.
 

The exhibition commemorates what  a limitless artist Keith Haring was and celebrated the questions of what art should be like and how art should be disseminated.
 

Guest curators  included Bill Arning, director of the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston, and Rick Herron, New York-based artist and freelance curator. The curators job was to emphasize Haring’s career and accomplishments through the works of 22 contemporary artists from around the world who Thedra Cullar-Ledford, Juliana Huxtable, Scooter LaForge Klara Lidén, Kristina Matousch and Joakim Ojanen.
