The roof park Stockholm Under Stjärnorna was a big hit this summer, with its bar, club and cinema drawing around 300,000 guests over the course of the season. It then closed at the end of the sunny season, and you expected that was that for another year. However, plans have changed, and SUS is now working towards having activities all year round. Beginning this winter, with its transformation into a ‘winter wonderland’ on November 30.

The 1200m2 park will now host live music and outdoor cinema events all winter, along with more seasonal activities like curling and a winter menu including goulash and warm drinks.

“Our bar and restaurant concept is being upgraded to a ‘winter wonderland-edition'”, says Henrik Jakobsen at Stockholm Under Stjärnorna. “The season will be marked with warm drinks and goulash soups, added to our usual range of food and drink. In addition to that, a part of the park will be transformed into a curling arena with five lanes. Our guests can compete against each other in Eisstock, an Austrian version of curling”.

The park re-opens on Friday, Nov 30 and remains open for the winter season.
