CLUBBING: FLEXX
We interviewed AmberValent about her DJ skills in the latest edition of TS, and you can catch her live this weekend as FLEXX, a new club, opens its doors for the first time. She’s behind the club along with Rasuul and SHADEDBYNATURE, and all three will be DJing. Brooklyn MC Jay Boogie will be performing live.
GIG: FLIM STOCKHOLM AT DOME OF VISIONS
This is one of the most interesting gig concepts we’ve come across in a while. FLiM is a concept that focusses on the interaction between visual art and ambient music, and hosts event that explore how they interact. This Friday they’re hosting a gig at the Dome Of Visions at KTH. Szymon Kaliski from Poland and Pour Nous will be performing live.

FILM: STOCKMOTION FILMFESTIVAL
There’s a bananza of film happening this weekend at Filmhuset at the Stockmotion Film Festival takes over the building. There will be over 100 films from first time directors, covering a huge range of themes and subject matters, along with a series of seminar programmes about all aspects of film, featuring the likes of Ursula S. Henningsson (speaking on film as therapy), Ahang Bashi and Moa Junström. There will also be full-length features, including Amanda Kernell’s Sameblod – Sami Blood and Fanni Metelius’ The boyfriend/ Jag vill inte bli gammal nu.
