The whimsical Finnish brand, Ivana Helsinki, was founded by Paola Suhonen and her sister Pirjo in Finland. Paola is a multi-medium designer and visual artist, and someone who is generally creative across the board. In addition to her clothing line she is a photographer, a writer and a filmmaker. Their brand was created in 1996 and has gone on to branch out into several different lines including womenswear, homewear and a film production unit. Among many other accolades, the Ivana Helsinki brand was the first Finnish brand founded by a woman to be invited to take part of the official New York and Parisian Fashion Weeks. For the Moomin collection they incorporated true personal life experiences into this bright colourful summer collection.

The collaboration with the Moomins shows soft feminine designs through the playful Moomin universe, infusing them with memories. True to its influences, the collection gives off a mysterious, effortless rock-and-roll vibe, with classic silhouettes and sportier pieces that are edgy and fun. KN
