Saigon

For a while there, Saigon were one of the most exciting avant garde bands in Stockholm, putting out music that spanned from staightforward indie-rock to colour-splattered skewed pop to droning doom-rock. But the band’s been inactive since the singles Like Dust and Hundred Years in 2016, and the question of whether they’d ever return was starting to creep in. Happily, they’re finally back. Their new album IIII arrives on June 7, and they’re playing live tomorrow at SUS.

For their long-awaited live return, they’re joined by Nora Karlsson’s Boys as the support act, along with Marlena Lampinen as DJ. The new Saigon album will be on sale on vinyl, ahead of the digital release.
