The set-up of this exhibition is simple – in both the suburbs and countryside today, we see similar problems. Both suffer from depopulation as their young people move away in search of opportunity, as well as the withdrawal of social services. But in both, there are movements looking for a way forward. In Den futuristiska orten, Tensta Konsthall looks for the green shoots of the future revival of these areas in art. Christian Nyampeta, Joar Nango, Anne Low and Seokyeong Kang are the contributing artists in a multi-disciplinary exhibition.
