It’s a cliché, but if you’re looking for the classic, old-school vision of Christmas, then Skansen is the place to be. They’re aware of this of course, so they’ve filled the farm in the middle of Djurgården with activities this season. Every weekend from November 30 to December 22 they’ll be having a Christmas market, and the gardens and buildings will be transformed into Christmas clothing, along with representations and information about how Christmas was celebrated across different eras. For kids, there’s also a workshop on how to make small Christmas crafts and treats.
