Weekend

GIG: VÄSTERBRON
It’s the last Garageband club night of the year, and to celebrate they’ve booked a band that might match the band’s mentality more than any other. Västerbron are a band that specialise in heavy-duty, punk-rock music, and they’ve just released a new record, Flyktbeteendevetenskap. This is their only Stockholm show of the year (although there’ll be more next year, as you can probably imagine), and they’re supported by TOMMA INTET.

Dec 21, 20:00-03:00, Debaser

GIG: A RAMA LAMA CHRISTMAS
Rama Lama wrap up what’s been a productive year for the label with a double live show. Art-pop band Cat Princess and pina colada crooner Chez Ali play live. The location is secret (it will be sent to ticket buyers on the day of the festival), and you can take advantage of their special offer deal of two vinyls, one t-shirt and one cassette, cap or tote bag for 300kr.
Dec 22, 20:00-01:00, Secret Venue

CLUB: COUNTRY MUSIC LABEL NIGHT
Country Music is a label that specialises in hard, heavy electronica music that also leans into the heavily artistic and conceptual. So their label night at Morfar Ginko this weekend (to celebrate the upcoming release of rip ME’s exhale, exfoliate) will be a dark, thumping adventure into the weird, adventurous side of club music. Rip ME play along with HAJ300 and Iinatti.

Dec 21, 21:00-01:00, Morfar Ginko

FILM: MIYAZAKI
The Miyazaki film days continue at Bio Rio, with the award-winning Spirited Away lined up for this Saturday. A little girl called Chihiro gets lost in the spirit world, her parents having been turned into pigs, and needs to find them a away out, as well as getting them back into human form. It won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2003.

Dec 22, 16:00-18:00, Bio Rio

MARKET: SERGELGATANS MARKNAD
Sergelgatan’s usual market goes Christmas for December, with their usual exhibitors going in a more Christmas-y direction. Classic Xmas presents and food and drink both indoors and outdoors. This is the last round of the Xmas edition.
Dec 22, 11:00-16:00, Sergelgatan 30
