Is she out of her mind or is the rest of the world?

A newly-written Swedish play at the main stage of Swedish theatre is a rare occurrence, but Mirja Unge’s modern-day Joan of Arc story about a woman who desperately wants to change the way we live is worthy of your attention.

Directed by Jenny Andreasson, *Johanna* is a magnificent high-octane story about a passionate person’s rise and fall and a raging showdown with our on-going environmental catastrophe.

*Johanna* opens on December 4 at Dramaten
