Tommy Myllymäki is everywhere these days. Ever since winning the Swedish Chef of the Year competition in 2007 and landing a second place in Bocuse d’Or, the world’s most prestigious cooking competition in 2011, his career has advanced in leaps and bounds. If he isn’t cooking on TV, he’s probably looking after his praised restaurant Sjön in Jönköping, where he lives, or planning new menus in one of the three Stockholm restaurants he’s creative leader for – Brillo, Riche or Sturehof, all run by Sturehofgruppen. He might be opening a pop-up restaurant at the Stockholm furniture fair, or creating a new food concept for Selma Spa in Sunne.

And if you don’t fancy leaving your cozy kitchen to eat out, there’s always his new book about sauces. Whether your favourite is vanilla sauce, sauce verte or beurre blanc, these 80 recipes guarantee that there’s something for everyone.
