GIG: CAT PRINCESS RELEASEFEST

We tipped Uppsala band Cat Princess as one of our ones to watch for this year in December, and you’ll have the chance to see the five-piece (Robin Åberg, Isabelle Friberg, Robert Lanneborn, Victor Klint and Nils Krång) live on Saturday. Their debut EP Please Me is finally getting a physical release after it went out digitally on Rama Lama Records last year, so along with the 100kr entrance fee you also get a cassette copy of its five sparky indie tracks. Chez Ali and Bygdø support.

CLUBBING: STHLM TECHNO CITY

To be honest, to explain why this is a clubbing highlight we surely need only say that it’s called Sthlm Techno City. What more do you need? The club hits mmmmm this Saturday with a techno set by Fjäder, along with houseband dansband3000. It’s on from 22-03.

FILM: TEMPO SHOWS LOVETRUE

This year’s Tempo festival lineup is comprised of over 100 creative documentaries from all corners of the globe, as well as photo exhibitions, audio docs, seminars and masterclasses plus competitions and parties. The main theme for this 18th edition of Tempo is “(un)truth”, a theme with a natural connection to the documentary world. On Friday they’re teaming up with Doc Lounge for a showing of Alma Har’el’s LoveTrue at Morfar Ginko, along with a party and a pole-dancing workshop from Emma Hei Rim Andersson.
