The pub quiz is a fairly recent phenomenon stemming from common trivia games such as Trivial Pursuit. In the UK, quiz nights are reinventing the traditional pub culture, and in Stockholm new quizzes are popping up on regular basis in the town’s various taprooms. The pop culture quiz, with main focus on music and movie trivia, seems to be in high demand, so we’ve gone and done a round of the lot in order to pick our five best. All you’ve got to do is gather your mates, brainstorm the best team name ever, and keep those pints coming! Over the coming few days we’ll be compiling a list of some of Stockholm’s best spots.

Landet Music Quiz

The first time I went to the Landet music quiz night was to see my dance colleague Tor perform with a female friend in a duet-themed special edition of the regular quiz. Singing and strumming their way through a set list that ranged from Dirty Dancing to Dolly Parton, the duo put on one hell of a show and the quiz was equally entertaining. It contained questions on everything from the planets of the solar system to the human fart. All in all, the evening was a complete success and kept “Team Chicago + 1” coming back for more.
