FILM: SAMMY DAVIS JR
We’ve already met Cinema Africa ahead of their festival, and Doc Lounge Stockholm are helping them out this weekend and teaming up for the showing of the Sammy David Jr documentary I’ve Gotta Be Me. Naturally for a Sammy David Jr event, Fasching is the venue, and there’ll be live jazz before and after the showing.

DJ trio Gyoekeres / Eddestaal / Boman are taking over at Laika on Friday, playing old-school disco, soul and acid. Joining them as a special guest is Copenhagen DJ Frederik Tollund, who promises “planned and unplanned detours into afrobeat, italo, house and library music”.
