GIG: BF/C
BF/C are Barish Firatli and Joel Hammad Magnusson, a duo who’ve worked behind the scenes with the likes of Kleerup and Timo Räisinen and are now stepping out on their own terms. They make lush, innovative electronic pop, and they’re releasing their debut album BF/C this Friday, and having a release fest at Scalateatern on Sunday to celebrate it.
CLUB: DARK CITY STOCKHOLM
Stockholm goes nocturnal on Saturday as a quintuple bill of dark bands play Debaser Strand for the Dark City Stockholm club night. Then Comes Silence, The Exploding Boy, The Flatfield and The Foreign Resort take to the stage, and Uppsala group Diskoteket make the short trip south to close the night out. The evening is hosted by Klubb Död and Darkroom and Henric de la Cour, Johnny BatCat Nattsjö and Emanu are on DJ duties.
ART: GALLERY STEINSLAND BERLINER WINTER SHOW
Gallery Steinsland Berliner is putting on its Winter Show this weekend with a massive group exhibition. The Gallery says the aim of the exhibition is to “present some of our favourite artists and provide the audience, as well as the participating artists, with the opportunity to experience and be inspired by the art scene, both within and outside of, their own country”. Duda Bebek, Linda Pedersen and Ylva Carlgren are just some of the artists taking part.
