Originally produced by Richard Barr on Broadway, the musical is now taking the stage on Swedish soil. Sweeney Todd has received several standout reviews, and there’s no doubt that the macabre story has etched itself into people’s curiosity. Johnny Depp as the barber Benjamin Barker, a.k.a. Sweeney Todd and Helena Bonham Carter as the insidious pie maker Mrs. Lovett did an amazing job portraying Tim Burton’s awarded film in 2007.
