Häxrummet Records has been putting out some of Stockholm’s best music for a while now, and it looks like their new signings BANGS are going to continue that streak. BANGS are Nicole Khadivi and Moa Andersson, and they make the kind of foggy electronic music that inhabits the dark side of your dreams. Their debut single, ‘Overdose’, is a brain-melting trip, opening up with hazy, dreamy waves of synths before the beat kicks in at about the one and a half minute mark, and transforms the track into a nerve shredding club song. It’s dance music, but one built for the shadows rather than the neon lights. ‘Overdose’ is out on Häxrummet now, and you can listen below.
