This summer, Tensta Konsthall is continuing their ongoing project of creating archives of recent history, and this time around it’s the turn of t two radical art projects: META and Regina, two artsy magazines from the 1990s. The project, put together by curator Ute Meta Bauer and artist Regina Möller, is connected through the fact that names of the originators are on the cover of their magazines and both share a feminist ideology. By looking at the two magazines, we get new perspective on the “feminist spring” in Sweden 2014. What was feminism like in the 90’s, before Feministiskt Initiativ and ideas like intersectionality gained ground? Come and see for yourself at Tensta Konsthall until the end of September.
