On tour with the new album Humanicity, Lee Scratch Perry is heading for the cold north of Sweden. On November 27th ,  he will bring with him the sizzling Jamaican heat and Easy Riddim Maker (ERM), to Debaser Slussen.

Lee Scratch Perry is known to be a living reggae legend, he is also known under the pseudonyms Pipecock Jackxon and The Upsetter. The Jamaican artist and producer has worked with several big names such as Bob Marley & The Wailers, and has proved influential in developing the reggae style. Working with many different artists he has discovered unique sounds, one of which resulted in the Humanicity album he has made with ERM.

ERM originated in Strasbourg, France, and currently consist of three musicians and one sound engineer. Their sound reflects the different influences of each member, such as traditional elements from Africa and the Caribbean mixed with the genres of Rock, Pop and Reggae. The resulting mix further combines with Lee Scratch Perry to make an exciting new album. Humanicity has a traditional sound that merges with modern elements, and according to an ERM press release; Perry improvised the lyrics for all the tracks. To read more about the album look here.
