In 2013 King Krule finally released the long awaited debut album 6 Feet Beneath the Moon on XL/True Panther. The album was loved by The New Yorker, Pitchfork, and Q. The Times praised the disarmed atmosphere and the outstanding craftsmanship, that this 19-year-old Archy Marshall is impressively behind. He is one of the truly original voices in today’s music landscape.
2014 is the year when we will really see King Krule take off globally. In the fall, he has played to sold-out venues in the UK and USA and started the year with gigs in Australia and Asia. In the spring, he takes his band on headline tours around Europe. Do not miss catching Marshall in his rare live form at the Strand this weekend.
