With a combined background working for big names like & Other Stories, Carin Wester and Whyred, Swedish friends Tina Petterson and Nicole Peira decided to create a brand new concept, and Amend Atelier was born. The idea? To create an artisanal shoe brand for women. Inspired by old traditions of making men’s shoes, they offer a completely customisable service. You start by picking a style and go on to choose which heel, leather and colour you prefer. With around 30 different combinations, it could take a while to choose. Aiming to create a product that is unaffected by fashion trends, timeless and long lasting, they truly embrace the idea of crafting with care. Amend’s designs are minimalistic but with a cool, contemporary touch – very Scandinavian.
