David's Angels

‘Angelic and brutal’ is a hell of a phrase to describe music, but that’s what Fasching went with in their promo for David’s Angels. The band, led by David Carlsson, play genre-bending jazz, with influences from rock, blues and everything else, and released their new album Traces this October. For this performance they’re joined by the celebrated Swedish trumpeter Jonne Bentlöv, who has also played with the likes of Bo Kaspers Orkester and First Aid Kit.
