Svenskt Tenn has relaunched two of Josef Frank’s 1940’s wallpaper patterns, called Söndagsmorgon (Sunday Morning) and Sagoträdet (Fairytale Tree). In order to get as close to Frank’s original designs as possible, the company has also returned to traditional distemper printing. Frank felt that the same patterns would never be used for carpets, textiles and wallpapers, which is why he designed several prints exclusively for wallpapers. Eleven of them are now available at Svenskt Tenn.
