The classic and the contemporary meet in this new exhibition at Nationalmuseum. The concept is pretty simple – classical works of art from the past obviously filter through and inspire modern artists. So why not collect contemporary works from all disciplines and parts of the world and see exactly how those classical pieces have been digested by and inspired today’s artists? The exhibition also includes the classics from Nationalmuseum’s collection to see how they interact with the contemporary works.
