With the main building still going through a major renovation, Nationalmuseum remains homeless, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy beautiful classical art. In a unique collaboration with Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, Nationalmuseum is presenting the exhibition Barockt where you can see a fascinating mix between the masters of the baroque, with classical as well as modern takes on the theme.

How has the baroque art period affected contemporary art?

Find out and see pieces by Isaac Julien, Sam Taylor-Johnson and Annika von Hausswolff, in a mix of absurd and surreal art that will be on display until this fall.

See Barockt at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern until 19 October.
