Fifteen years ago, way back in 2003, the Clarion Hotel Skanstull was opened. Now in 2018, they’re celebrating their 15th anniversary with a two-day party. On both days they’ll be hosting ‘Art For The Masses’, as one wall in the hotel’s lobby will be given over to the collective Graffitisthlm, who’ll put together a new artwork there, to be completed on the Saturday. Graffitisthlm will also be exhibiting some of their work around the hotel and offering a guided tour of that work.

On Friday, May 4 the hotel will be hosting the For The Love Of Beer Festival, a craft-beer after-work with Brooklyn Brewery, Nya Carnegiebryggeriet and Carlsberg, as well as a range of food trucks. On Saturday May 5, that vibe changes as it switches over to a champagne celebration, with bubbly on offer from Moët & Chandon in the hotel’s 120m2 Söder suite, along with complementing cheeses. And on Saturday the festival wraps up with a takeover by the music collective Mosquito, and Eatery Social Skanstull will be providing foods and drinks on the hotel’s terrace.

“We’re really looking forward to celebrating our 15th anniversary with a fiesta like no other. For our birthday party we have chosen to welcome all of Södermalm, as well as any others who might be interested. We want to emphasise our local engagement, and show that we at Clarion Stockholm stand for openness, tolerance and equality”, says hotel director Björn Callin.
