Back again for some more fun in Stockholm is Brooklyn, Sweden, which is here for its second edition. With such a successful year last year with over 16 bands making an appearance and a full crowd Brooklyn, Sweden is hoping to push the envelope even further and promising an even bigger event.
Once again with the collaboration of Brooklyn Brewery the best of Brooklyn’s culture will be shipped right here to our city. They will choose the best of the best of music, food, and of course drink. The creators have said that a new edge on film and arts will be displayed at the festival – something new they believe no one in Sweden has ever seen before.
Artists such as EL-P, Lydia Lunch, and Designer Drugs will be there along with many others. Those who are into film and photography will be able to find local photographs and movies at the festival as well. Competitions and dance-offs will be a part of the fun and the chance to win a trip to New York and check out Brooklyn and its lively culture in person. The menu will be designed by Caleixo’s head chef, New Yorker Mike Galvin, and Brooklyn Brewery’s House Chef Andrew Gerson. The best of Brooklyn Brewery’s beers will provide the majority of the refreshments.
Make sure not to miss any of these days that will be a full of everything Brooklyn from August 23 to the 25th. Events will be held at Debaser Hornstull, Debaser Slussen, and Debaser Medis.
