The festive season is obviously flooded with Christmas markets (they’re called that for a reason), but maybe you’re already sick of buying gingerbread, glögg, candles and little bits of log? Then Beckmans might be able to offer you something a little different from the standard Christmas fare. For the Beckmans Julmarknad, students within the school’s fashion, design and visual communication departments will be making their work available for sale. This means you might have the chance to grab some potentially valuable work from the famous designers of the future, or maybe just pick up some nice Christmas gifts.
“Everything is made by us students, and everything is limited edition because we made it ourselves. There will be a nice atmosphere and a cosy fika in the café, so come by, even if only to be inspired,” says Isak de Jong, a final year student in the Visual Communication programme.
