It was only a short while ago that we brought you news of some of the city’s best bartenders, but we’re not done with content for the cocktail-interested yet. This Saturday, there’s a treat in store for everyone whose alcohol tastes extend past beer and red wine. Bästa Drycker, one of Sweden’s top wine, spirit and beer interest magazines is hosting a celebration of cocktails with Tap Room Kungsholmen, the Clarion Hotel Amaranten’s cocktail lounge.
On Saturday the venue will be packed with some of the city’s best bartenders, who’ll be serving up some of the city’s best drinks. Visitors can tour around, chat to the bartenders about their craft and try some classic cocktails, as well as bold new entries into the drinks catalogue. Bästa Drycker’s Pelle Tamleht says: “Our ambition is to make a mark in establishing cocktails as a great drink to enjoy with company, and to show how important quality is. We hope that this event will soon be a recurring part of the Stockholm bar calendar”.
So whether you’ve someone who enjoys looking for Stockholm’s most adventurous new cocktail, or just happy with a really good gin and tonic, you’ll find something for you here. Entrance is free, and drinks tickets can be purchased on location.
