Baileys Open Up The Treat Factory At PS Matsal

Posted December 7, 2017 in Food & Drink

Christmas is officially the time of year when people do the most baking (unless, I guess, if you work as a baker), as people take the opportunity to gather their near and dear and put their creativity to work in crafting treats. And Baileys are looking to get in on that trend this Christmas, as they’re opening up the Baileys Treat Factory at PS Matsal. The Treat Factory is a playground for all things chocolatey and sweet. Visitors will be given the tools and ingredients to put together their very own favourite sweets, with help from Dorotea “Tea” Malmegård, a Stockholm-based cook and confectioner who has worked at the likes of Operakällaren and Lux. She’s put together three of her own recipes for sweets based around built-in Baileys, one truffle, one caramel and one fudge. And of course, visitors can take what they make home with them, to use as a future dessert or even as a seasonal gift.

Malmegård says: “As a confectioner I naturally love Christmas, and the natural place it has for baking. That baking during this time is a collective activity where friends and family can make something together is fantastic! Lussebullar and gingerbread are so good, but it feels fun to be able to bring recepies to Baileys Treat Factory and give the guests an opportunity to bake something with a little more adult flavour”.

The Baileys Treat Factory is open on December 16 and 17, and tickets cost 200kr. There is a 25-years plus age limit for all participants. Tickets are available here.

Baileys Treat Factory, PS Matsal, Nytorgsgatan 42. Dec 16 & 17
