Sally Mann at Fotografiska

Sally Mann’s magical black and white photos of her children were once held by the FBI for 20 years, and now you have a last chance to see them at photography museum Fotografiska.

The exhibition – A matter of time – covers Sally Mann’s work over five decades.

A Canadian writer friend of mine went to see this exhibition twice during her Stockholm visit. “Sally Mann INSPIRES me SO MUCH”, she told me. “I had to go there twice. I can’t stop thinking about it. And HER TECHNIQUE. It’s AMAZING”. If you saw the look on her face as she was talking about the photos and the video that goes with them, you would not miss this show for the world.

And you don’t have to. Just make sure to get to Fotografiska before the end of September and you’ll be fine. And, hopefully, get at least almost as inspired as my friend.
