Konstantin Grcic is one of the world’s most influential furniture and product designers, combining industrial aesthetics with experimental, playful and artful elements. Now, thanks to Arkitektur – och designcentrum, he’s coming to Stockholm for a personal talk with Johanna Agerman Ross, founder of the London-based biannual design magazine Disegno. The talk will centre on subjects like inspiration, how we will be living in the future and why failure is a clear path to success. And perhaps they’ll touch on the subjects of comfort and functionality and Grcic’s view on the emotional relationship also being a function. “Comfort is not all about how comfortable a chair might be but how comfortable you are with the object,” he says.
