GIG: MIKE KROL/ SUDAKISTAN/ CHERRY PICKLES
It’s a monstrously stacked line-up at Melodybox this weekend. Heading up the bill is US artist Mike Krol, whose scoured, scorched take on blues rock has resulted in new record Power Chords, one of the standouts of his catalogue. He’s joined by Birmingham band Cherry Pickles, a scuzz-rock duo whose music leans towards guerrilla pop songs played on a speaker in the process of burning down. And completing the line-up are local heroes Sudakistan, back from a trip to Texas and SXSW. Doors open at 21:00.

DRINK: GINMÄSSA
Sweden’s flair for spirits is a well-established fact, but gin is maybe not the one you’d immediately associate with the country. However, there are some small rumblings that that might change, and an opportunity to get on board early comes with Spritmuseum’s ginmässa. They’ve invited in a bunch of the country’s rising gin distillers, and guests can taste their wares on Saturday.

GIG: HABIB1
HABIB1 are one of the most exciting acts on the Stockholm scene on the moment, with their genre-blurring neo-techno-meets-R’n’B-meets-rave sound. They’re finally back with a new EP, Yok Problem, and they’re launching it at Under Bron on Saturday. The perform live,  HAJ300, RAMADONNA, ÅSKA SAGA, HACKERVINCENT B2B MANSA, BUNDUKI and SHADEDBYNATURE DJ and visuals come from Ambra Ambra.
