Australian artist Carla Dal Forno writes songs like they’re a garden of sound, a series of elements growing and wrapping around each other in harmony, to create a soft, warm, experimental art-pop glow. Now she’s got a new album on the way, Look Up Sharp, out in October, and the early singles from that indicate a stark, cinematic swing in her new sound, especially on latest outing Took A Long Time. Fasching’s appetite for musical craft makes it maybe the ideal Stockholm venue for her, and she’ll be here in October with UK artist Thomas Bush as support.
