Cissi Efraimsson and Lisa Pyk are Vulkano, and they released their third album Peach Punch in November last year, a colourful cocktail of peppy, lush pop music. The band say: “With Peach Punch we wanted to create something that was more straight-out pop than what Vulkano had done before. Music that isn’t retro, but instead more forward-looking and forward-thinking – without being electronic”.
They’ve now started on a nationwide tour to promote that record, and they land in Stockholm at Debaser Strand on Saturday. Support comes from Dolores Haze, newly reformed as a three-piece, and KLUBB TO THE RESCUE DJ. Doors open at 20:00.
