Danish trio Baby In Vain (Lola Hammerich, Benedicte Pierleoni and Andrea Thuesen) make rock music with a mean streak, growling gutter-guitar anthems that grunt and snarl with violence and menace. Through that aggression though, the group channel a melodic sweet spot, making their debut full-length More Nothing an album packed with songs that’ll kick your head in before getting stuck in it for the rest of the day. They’ve been battle-hardening their live show on a UK tour over the last few months, and they hit the road in Scandinavia this winter, landing in Stockholm on January 25.
