It is Written in the Stars

Café culture is alive and well in Stockholm, as evidenced by Kafé Orion just off Odenplan. The piercing green coffee shop and lunchroom is housed in a locale that used to be part of the *Oden Teatern* theatre, and some of the space’s original details have been preserved.

As with sister coffee bar Kafé Esaias (which opened in 2011), the beans are supplied by Gothenburg-based roaster Da Matteo, while Orion offers a slightly different menu featuring a couple of grilled levain sandwiches, salads and a home-made soup of the week. We are quite certain we’re seeing the birth of another coffee star on the horizon.
