Old School Cooking

Eager to deepen your knowledge in old-world gastronomic heritage and artisanal cooking techniques? By the sound of it, you’re ready for a class in the baking of traditional Swedish flatbread.

On September 10 and 17 Skansen is offering the opportunity to learn from a master. Sami woman Nik Märak will share her insights into all the many and complex steps required in the cooking of flatbread in the way it was done a century ago. The two cooking workshops are held in the Jämtland bakers hut.
