The pub quiz is a fairly recent phenomenon stemming from common trivia games such as Trivial Pursuit. In the UK, quiz nights are reinventing the traditional pub culture, and in Stockholm new quizzes are popping up on regular basis in the town’s various taprooms. Now, quizzes in English are finding their way around the city as well, and you won’t only find the expected ex-pats attending. Native Stockholmers fill the bar and more often than anticipated win it all.

Saints Food & Drinks, brother bar to Bagpipers Inn in Vasasatan, is one of the most fun English pub quizzes we’ve seen in the city. Not focussing on one particular genre the quiz ranges from music, film, geography, sports and more! Prizes from Saints are also very good including gift certificates, food vouchers, tickets, and surprises.

And the atmosphere? Saints is a great setup with booths, huge comfy chairs, lovely lighting and trendy decor. And to add to the list – the bar has a great menu if you want to head there early to eat some yummy food before the quiz. But, if you’re just hungry for something small during the quiz, there are an arrangement of great snacks to order form the bar.

And to top it off one of TS’s own, Angela Markovic, has recently taken over the quiz as Quiz Master, so we predict it will be better than ever (but of course we’re a bit biased ;])!
