Laidback Luke is Luke van Scheppingen, a Filipino-Dutch DJ and producer who’s probably most famous for his many remixes of other people’s hit songs. The list of songs that he’s remixed is ridiculously long and consists of exclusively renowned artists. He’s been acknowledged as one of the top most popular DJs in the world, and on Saturday he’s coming to the Marquise Club in Stockholm to pump some Dutch house into our Scandinavian veins.

Working with top names like David Guetta, Axwell and Steve Angello, the former graffiti artist has released two studio albums, sweated on turntables in Ibiza, Japan and all over Europe and North America. Basically he’s made damn sure that everyone that matters has heard his name. Perhaps one would view the fact that LL is more known for his remixes than his own creations as something negative; although, he still seems to be doing what he loves with immense passion and that’s enough for me.
