Shakespeare

‘Ol William Shakespeare was obviously a great writer, but just like any writer he had his hack tricks like anyone else. Just think about how many Shakespeare plots rely on a shipwreck, someone being in disguise, overhearing something from behind a curtain, a character mistakenly believing another to be dead or a last-minute letter from the king. His comedy Twelfth Night uses several of these, but hey, if it works it works, and it also features one of his best character names in Sir Toby Belch. Polar Eclipse Theatre are bringing a new interpretation of it to Parkteatern this summer.
