This week is another big week for the city’s food community as the Sthlm Food & Wine fair opens on Thursday. The fair will host over 250 exhibitors and 35,000 visitors over its four-day span, and will host an extensive programme of talks and awards. The talks programme includes a lesson from New Orleans chef Nina Compton on Caribbean and American food culture, Gourmet Vegetarian food with Jennie Benjaminsson and making Japanese food with Sayan Isaksson. Competitions during the fair include the Swedish Sandwich Championships (Mack SM) and Sweden’s Best Food Blog. The fair opens at 11:00 on Thursday.
