There are few nations which inspire thoughts of peace and beauty like Sweden. From its welcoming culture and beautiful people to its incredible natural beauty, Sweden has something for everyone. What many are not aware of, however, is just how much modernization and evolving technology have brought to the country, and the cities contained within. In this brief article, we aim to look at the capital, Stockholm, to explore some of the modern attractions and developments only made better through the city’s technological evolution.

Sightseeing tours have been a popular and crucial component of tourism for a very long time. The problem which many of us have, especially those of us taller or wider than the average person, is getting around in comfort. Modern tours in Stockholm take advantage of all the modern innovations in comfort, style, and technology. This means a better overall experience and one which can be supported by a wealth of information best available through the use of tablet or mobile information technology.

One of the best ways to gains an understanding of the context of a particular culture, the museums in Stockholm boast some of the best collections of European history in the world. What we really love here is their adoption of newer technology like supporting files for mobile devices, the type first popularised in the public eye by the Louvre. These little websites and data packs for your devices allow a degree of interactivity and in-depth understanding of subjects in a way never before possible. Flip through a virtual cross-section of ancient architecture, or jump through the different eras of development – there are a huge variety of ways in which new technology improves this classically-loved experience.

While people tend to think America when they consider casinos, this is often an injustice to the sheer quality and variety on offer from other nations. Inspired by both the constant popularity of traditional casinos, and the recent popularisation of online casinos like those listed on SpelaCasino.com, such as Betsafe, Stockholm has some of the best offerings a gamer could hope to find in Europe. These include all the modern games and tech which players have come to love, with the additional benefit of some of the most naturally beautiful surroundings found anywhere on earth. We love Las Vegas, but the desert can’t compare to this.

What better way to end a day than by going out on the town. The nightlife in Stockholm has earned a reputation for the ingenuity of their modern bars and clubs, which stand in stark contrast to those which focus on traditional Swedish culture. These include such amazing developments as the Icebar, where much of the design and furniture is carved with intricate tools and maintained through refrigeration and natural cold, and the Gota Kallare, an enormous club filled with dance music, incredible light shows, and talented DJs. Not convinced? Simply kick back at one of the many motels instead, and enjoy all the comfort and cosiness afforded by being warm in the cold.
