For a lot of people, the Scandinavian awareness of Spanish food doesn’t go beyond tapas. This is something that Daida Mascaro, restaurant manager at Spanjorskan – Swedish for a female Spaniard – wishes to change.

Spanjorskan, part of the ever-expanding Bockholmengruppen restaurant group, has hired chefs Magnus Andersson and Karl Olá, two authorities on Spanish cuisine, to come up with a menu that will broaden our view on the country’s specialities. Menu items include their interpretation of the paella, Spanish suckling pig and tons of charcuteries. And lots of sherry, naturally.
