Finland, which you might recognise as the country that happens when you drive past Luleå and keep going, celebrates the 100th anniversary of its independence this year. Which, given that they’re our near neighbours, leads to a lot of celebrations in Stockholm. Not least at Södra Teatern, where they’re teaming up with Sveriges Radio for a special concert. Presented by Josefine Sundström and Marko ”Markoolio” Lehtosalo, it features a massive line-up of artists with Finnish roots, including Lisa Miskovsky, Iiris Viljanen, Kristian Anttila, Juuso Pikanen, Darya Pakarinen and Markoolio, along with the house band Månskensorkestern. It all takes place at Kägelbanan on Nov 29, and will be broadcast live on Sveriges Radion’s Sisuradio.
