The end of summer festival Popaganda won’t be returning to Eriksdalbadet this year. The festival, headlined last year by Veronica Maggio and Franz Ferdinand, is taking a break for 2019. Having run since 2002, the Popaganda organisation is taking this year out to assess their structure and work towards developing Popaganda into the future.

“It’s super sad that we’re not having a festival this year, but we see it as the correct decision to take in order to return stronger next year. We want a long-term vision for Popaganda, and we think we can build that vision through taking this tough decision. Now we’re taking this chance to focus on our creativity and what we can improve and strengthen going forwards, so we can make next year our best year ever”, says Popaganda’s project leader Elin Nilsson.
