Fans of street food should keep their eyes peeled for something pink prowling Stockholm’s streets over the coming summer. The restaurateur Pontus Frithiof has launched a new food truck, which will take the form of a little pink Citroën HY, with a lunch menu that focuses on burgers. The two star items on the daily menu will be burger with miso-mayonnaise and pickled red onion and a Reko chicken burger with sirachi-mayonnaise and pickled red onion. The burgers come with sweet potato fries, bean salad, marinated chilli gherkin and mayo dip as side options. Wine and champagne will be available after 11:00.

The truck will be based at the foot of the DN Tower at Gjörwellsgatan 30 in Marieberg, but will also travel around the city. Frithiof says: “It feels like the right time to launch our food truck, just before spring and the summer. It’s fun that now more people will have the opportunity to try our food, and the truck will definitely be a popular feature at parties and events. The truck is a further development in our strategy of putting forward new concepts with good and well-made food for people on the move”.

Foodtruck by Pontus, open Monday to Friday, 11:00-13:30
